Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 1, 2025

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what we don't do with it.

The short version: we don't collect, store, or share any of the personal data you enter into the calculator. Your weight, sex, drink count, and start time never leave your device.

Information we do not collect

When you use the Am I Sober? calculator, all calculations happen entirely within your browser. The following inputs are never transmitted to our servers and are never stored:

Your body weight, your biological sex, the number and type of drinks you've consumed, and the time you began drinking.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we may automatically receive standard server log data when you visit AmISober.com. This includes your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited. This data is used solely for operating and improving the site and is not linked to any personal identity.

Cookies and advertising

AmISober.com displays advertisements through Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com.

We do not use cookies ourselves for tracking, profiling, or analytics beyond what is set by Google AdSense as part of ad delivery.

Third-party services

We use Google Fonts to load typefaces used on this site. When fonts are loaded, Google may collect your IP address and browser information as part of that request. This is standard practice for web font delivery.

We may use a basic analytics service (such as Google Analytics or a privacy-respecting alternative) to understand aggregate traffic patterns — for example, how many people visit the site, what country they're from, and what device they use. This data is aggregated and not personally identifiable.

Children's privacy

AmISober.com is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
